Kudos to PYM!=)
St. Peter Parish - Parish Youth Ministry.
Walang senyas o kahit ano. Sadyang gugulatin ka. So eto ka, nagulat, sumigaw, natuwa, naging proud.

Cell Group system in the Youth Ministry
i'm thinking of doing the cellgroup system in the Youth Ministry of SPP.
The Core group is composed of 21 people.
I will probably hold a cell grouping for the CORE Leaders:
Liza, Marlyn, Marge, Rony, Annalyn, Dan, Cherry, Cat, Liette or whoever seats as the documentation head, Regina, May or whoever seats as the Area Coordinator.
These are about a group of 10 people.
This will be help one a month.
I'll choose a comfortable schedule.
System: Welcome |ice breaker question|, Worship |one prayer and song|, Work |how to improve youth ministry|, Word |reading for the day|
Liza could handle the cell group for the youth heads
The youth heads duplicates the system with their Kawan youth members
The committee heads duplicates the same system with their committee members
This will be the 'alaga' system of the group.
=)
This way, coordinating won't be hard for all of us.

My Blank Canvas (Inspired By Jen Soriano and Doug Fields)
When I started my Parish Youth Ministry journey, I brought with me a blank canvas.
It was early in June that I started bringing this blank canvas to St. Peter Parish.
A very intriguing text from Fr. Tony regarding an emergency meeting with him.
Fr. Tony asking me if I am willing to be St. Peter's Youth Coordinator.
June, first week, meeting with PYM, elected Youth Coordinator.
I noticed by blank canvas has a little sprinkle of yellow.
It was a blank canvas, why does it have a sprinkle of yellow?
I put a name tag on it so people will know that it is mine.
I even put my kawan's name 'Old Balara' on it for distinction.
1st Meeting agreed about the concert.
SPP delegation to Australia.
Came August, cramming for the concert.
Practices-Meetings-Practices-Meetings.
Practices-Teambuildings-Solicitations-Tickets-Tarps-50-500-1000.
Where is my blank canvas?
I cannot see it anymore.
I was trying to look for it everywhere.
No one knows where it is.
I asked Liza, "where is my canvas?"
There it is, she said.
But this is not mine, it has my name on it but my kawan's name 'Old Balara' is not on it anymore. It has a lot of sprinkles.
Concert success.

With all I am-Heart of Worship
I suddenly noticed that my blank canvas isn't blank anymore.
It has many colors on it.
Black, white, rainbow.
I didn't put color on it alone.
Liza: I'll sprinkle it with my listening ears and wisdom to share.
Regina: I made fun and uplifting strokes.
Marge: I'll just back you up all through the way
Rony: I'll decorate it with some cheers
Shernan: I'll put laughter on it
Marlyn: I'll share my dancing and singing skills
Diane: I'll put good ideas on it
Cat: Can I decorate it with smiles and a helping hand?
Sarah: I am here, what can I do?
Lala: I'll follow whatever you guys will do
Rose Ann: I can sing...
Ma. Anne: I can sing and dance too!
Liette: I can also share my talents.
Anthony: haha... I have with me my Feria team to back you up!
Thea: I can help!
Jollibee: me too!!!
May: What else can I do?
Lloyd: I'll put some prayer strokes on it!
Cherry: I'll draw some smiles too!
Marga: Oh, me too!
Chito: Here's a dance for you guys!
Gerry: I may be quiet, but I'm here to cheer!
Jayson: hahaha... I'll put some laughter too!
Jeane: I'll paint it together with other youth volunteers from Sto. Nino!
Maki: I have Dupax boys to back you up!
Fr. Tony: God is always with us in every step of the way, we can do this! We can serve him and be of help to our fellow men! Come, paint this beautiful masterpiece with us!
God: Now, my masterpiece is not yet done. Come join and let me finish it with LOVE!
We are calling you to be a YOUTH VOLUNTEER!

Ten things a great small group leader does for the youth ...
Copied from Dough Fields
Ten things a great small group leader does for youth...
Ten things a great small group leader does for youth...
- Another caring adult is cheering them on.
- Encouragement to grow spiritually on their own.
- Support during difficult times in their life.
- Presence at their sporting events.
- Someone who is excited to see them at church.
- Someone they are excited to see when they arrive at church.
- Someone who leaves them voice messages "just because I was thinking of you."
- A caring adult who doesn't freak-out over bad grades--they're capable of being neutral.
- Someone who is a "safe" person to talk to.
- A person who is tender, yet truthful when my kids need a little correcting.

Easter Sunday Reflection

On the third day, Jesus rose from the dead. I didn't imagine that I'll be able to put away my mask and reveal who truly I am. At different situations, I pretend to be somebody. I try to escape from the reality of who truly I am today.
Since the fall of our business, I needed to adjust to a new lifestyle. I don't go home to a big house anymore. I don't have maids to do the chores for me or even get me a glass of water. I don't have people to run errands for me.
Before, I used to be so proud of myself since I know that my dad is one of the richest in our clan and in the neighborhood. But after the bankruptcy, everybody witnessed how we went down.
But after all, that fall became my motivation to be a better person right now. That fall motivated me to study harder and be the best in every situation. That fall taught me to be a grateful person.
I used to be a brat. I had everything I wanted. I was never deprived of the things that I liked. I was used to instants --- because all i have to do is utter what i need and like a genie everything i wished for are all in front of me.
Sometimes I miss the life that I used to live. Sometimes, I reminisce about those good times that I was on top. But being on top is nothing without God.
Now I graduated from College and with this armor, I could battle through life's adversities. Amidst all, one thing will remain constant. There is a loving God who through all my ups and downs, never abandoned me and continues to love me despite everything.
May this Easter be a reminder for me to strive to be the best that I can be and live my life being a good example of God's love and providence.

10 Secrets to Fulfilling Relationships
10 Secrets to Fulfilling Relationships
The first secret? the power of THOUGHT.
Love begins with our thoughts. We become what
we think about. Loving thoughts create loving
experiences and loving relationships. Affirmations
can change our beliefs and thoughts about
ourselves and others. If we want to love someone,
we need to consider their needs and desires.
The second secret? the power of GIVING.
If you want to receive love, all you have to do is
give it! The more love you give, the more you will
receive. To love is to give of yourself, freely and
unconditionally. Practice random acts of kindness.
Before committing to a relationship, ask not what
the other person will be able to give to you, but
rather what will you be able to give them. The
secret formula of a happy, lifelong, loving
relationship is to always focus on what you can
give instead of what you can take.
The third secret? the power of RESPECT.
You cannot love anyone or anything unless you
first
respect them. The first person you need to
respect
is yourself. To begin to gain self-respect ask
yourself, "What do I respect about myself?" To
gain respect for others, even those you may
dislike, ask yourself "What do I respect about
them?"
The fourth secret? the power of FRIENDSHIP.
To find a true love, you must first find a true friend.
Love does not consist of gazing into each other's
eyes, but rather looking outward together in the
same direction. To love someone completely you
must love them for who they are, not what they
look
like. Friendship is the soil through which love's
seeds grow. If you want to bring love into a
relationship, you must first bring friendship.
The fifth secret? the power of LETTING GO.
If you love something, let it free. If it comes back to
you, it's yours; if it doesn't, it never was. Even in a
loving relationship, people need their own space.
If we want to learn to love, we must first learn to
forgive and let go of past hurts and grievances.
Love means letting go of our fears, prejudices,
egos and conditions. "Today I let go of all my
fears, the past has no power over me - today is
the beginning of a new life."
The sixth secret? the power of COMMUNICATION.
When we learn to communicate openly and
honestly, life changes. To love someone is to
communicate with them. Let the people you love
know that you love them and appreciate them.
Never be afraid to say those three magic words: "I
Love You." Never let an opportunity pass to praise
someone. Always leave someone you love with a
loving word - it could be the last time you see
them! If you were about to die but could make
telephone calls to the people you loved, who
would
you call, what would you say and ... why are you
waiting?
The seventh secret? the power of COMMITMENT.
If you want to have love in abundance, you must
be
committed to it, and that commitment will be
reflected in your thoughts and actions.
Commitment is the true test of love. If you want to
have loving relationships, you must be committed
to loving relationships. When you are committed
to
someone or something, quitting is never an
option. Commitment distinguishes a fragile
relationship from a strong one.
The eighth secret? the power of PASSION.
Passion ignites love and keeps it alive. Lasting
passion does not come through physical
attraction
alone, it comes from deep commitment,
enthusiasm, interest and excitement. Passion can
be recreated by recreating past experiences
when
you felt passionate. Spontaneity and surprises
produce passion. The essence of love and
happiness are the same; all we need to do is to
live each day with passion.
The ninth secret? the power of TOUCH.
Touch is one of the most powerful expressions of
love, breaking down barriers and bonding
relationships. Touch changes our physical and
emotional states and makes us more receptive to
love.
The tenth secret? the power of TRUST.
Trust is essential in all loving relationships.
Without it, one person becomes suspicious,
anxious and fearful and the other person feels
trapped and emotionally suffocated. You cannot
love someone completely unless you trust them
completely. Act as if your relationship with the
person you love will never end. One of the ways
you can tell whether a person is right for you is to
ask yourself, "Do I trust them completely and
unreservedly?" If the answer is "no", think carefully
before making a commitment.

Yep!
Single!
♥It's exactly three years since I wrote this blog post. For the record, I haven't been in love for a long time. Oh Come on! Alright.. I'm lying.. hahaha.. I've been in love a lot of times since then. Some say its not love but just infatuation. Whatever it is, I know myself better than they do. But I haven't been in a relationship for so long. I had my last relationship three years ago. Relationship? Yes... a real one. hahaha... Why a real one? Because I've been in not-that-real-relatiosnhips. hahaha.. It may be happy but its not fulfilling... (wag kang fulfilling)I'll be lying if I'll say that I don't long to be in a relatiosnhip. But, I'm willing to wait... wait for the right man to come along.
Right now, there's someone out there. But I don't know if he's real. I'll just wait for his move. Like what he said. :) Love is just around. I can feel it. Its just waiting for the right time. ♥

Lindsay Lohan. What now?

Less than two weeks out of rehab, Lindsay Lohan relapsed shortly before her arrest and is now "receiving medical care," her lawyer said Tuesday.
"Addiction is a terrible and vicious disease," attorney Blair Berk said in a statement.
Since leaving Promises rehab facility on July 13, Lohan has been wearing an electronic alcohol-monitoring bracelet on her ankle. She had it on even as she hit parties and nightclubs in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. However, police say the device did not play any role in notifying police that she was allegedly driving under the influence on Tuesday.
"Throughout this period, I have received timely and accurate reports from the testing companies," says Berk. "Unfortunately, late [Monday] I was informed that Lindsay had relapsed. The bracelet has now been removed. She is safe, out of custody and presently receiving medical care."
The actress, 21, was booked early Tuesday morning for DUI, possession of cocaine, transporting a narcotic into a custody facility and driving on a suspended license, according to Santa Monica police spokesman Lt. Alex Padilla.
Officers smelled alcohol on Lohan's breath when they first arrived on the scene Tuesday. She refused to submit to a preliminary blood alcohol test, so she was arrested and taken to the local police station, added Padilla.
Lohan's attorney posted the $25,000 bail required to have the actress released from jail at approximately 6:30 a.m. Her arraignment was set for Aug. 24.
Reached by PEOPLE, the star's father, Michael Lohan, said he's "heartbroken" by his daughter's arrest.

NEW YORK - Gisele Bundchen tops Forbes.com's list of the world's richest models, earning $33 million in the last 12 months

The Brazilian supermodel strutted past the likes of Kate Moss, who came in at No.2, and Heidi Klum, who placed third on the list.
Bundchen, 26, parted ways with Victoria's Secret in May and will see her lucrative contract with the lingerie brand expire at the end of the year.
Still, she boasts "more contracts than any other model on the planet," Forbes.com said, and has appeared in campaigns for high-end brands including Apple, Dolce & Gabbana and Roberto Cavalli.
Moss, who recently launched a clothing line at British fashion retailer Topshop, ranks second with $9 million. The 33-year-old fashion icon is the new face of fashion label Stella McCartney and Italian sportswear company Belstaff.
Klum, 34, placed third with $8 million. She is a Victoria's Secret spokesmodel and host of Bravo's "Project Runway."
Two more Victoria's Secret beauties — Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio — rounded out the top five with $6 million each.
They were followed by Carolyn Murphy ($5 million); Natalia Vodianova ($4.5 million); Karolina Kurkova and Daria Werbowy (both $3.5 million); Gemma Ward ($3 million); Liya Kebede ($2.5 million); Hilary Rhoda and Shalom Harlow (both $2 million); and Doutzen Kroes and Jessica Stam (both $1.5 million).
In ranking these catwalkers, Forbes.com said editors also factored in a model's "relevancy" — determined by recent campaigns, fashion magazine covers and opinions of those in the fashion industry — where necessary. The list was posted Monday on the Web site.

What's Your Sense of Humor?

Rosselle, your sense of humor is Sarcasm Oh yeah, you're really funny. (Actually you are, but you're so sarcastic that it's hard to tell when you're joking.) You mean what you say, but almost never say exactly what you mean. In fact you usually say the exact opposite. For instance, if your friend is wearing an ugly watch, you might tell them, "I wanted a watch like that once, but I got the wrong Happy Meal." Yep, there's a slight edge to your humor, but all you are really doing is telling it like it is, only like it's not.
Whether you're roasting a friend or playing social critic, your deadpan delivery and dry cynicism go a long way to expressing your true feelings...and making people laugh along the way.

What Kind of Girlfriend am I?

Rosselle, you're a Steady Supporter Stand by your man — that's just something you naturally do. Once you've committed to a relationship, you are a constant companion who enjoys the comfort and stability that comes from being a couple. Not quick to judge, accuse, or think the worst, you have a lot of trust (in him and in yourself), and you rarely worry about where he is or who he's with.
For you, mutual respect is of utmost importance. You are comfortable and confident in your own skin, making you a great pillar of strength in all your relationships. Whether he's striving to climb a mountain or land a promotion, you have his back. Best part is, you know he's got yours too.
